A chance to meet Jai Ram Kaur and Maheshjoti Kaur, hear about the training and ask your questions.

If you want to learn something, read about it. If you want to understand something, write about it.

If you want to master something, teach it.

KRI Level One Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training is a 220 + hour KRI certified and globally recognised professional training which qualifies you to instruct Kundalini Yoga. Becoming a teacher is a path to embodiment and integration. We say, teach to master. This means you don’t have to have mastered the practice and teachings in order to teach them. The mastery gradually comes through teaching and continuing to sincerely practice yourself. As much as there is alot of inspiring learning in the process, parallel to that teacher training is just as much an incubator for your true self. It provides the support, the containment, the guidance and the community that you need to take that sacred journey.

Sangat

A single feather is just a feather. Many feathers together form wings with which to fly. Such is the experience of sangat, spiritual community.

The training consists of..

✨ 180 classroom hours in 10 modules

✨ approx 40 hours of home practice & study

✨ 8 hour intensive meditation day

Jai Ram Kaur in Perth is the main trainer of the programme and will be present holding the space in Perth for in person participants throughout. She will also attend the 6 day residential in NZ if this takes place.

Alongside Jai Ram Kaur, we will be joined by an inspiring and experienced team: Shiv Charan Singh, Angad Kaur, Satwant Kaur and Shama Kaur. You can read about them below.

In such times as these, flexibility is key. Our aim and wish is to provide for all participants the opportunity for a 6 day residential retreat as part of the training. If numbers are sufficient to do so, In New Zealand this will take place at Aroha Shanti retreat centre. We will discuss this with everyone before the training commences. Depending on the number of registrants in Perth, a residential will also be offered - again, to be discussed with everyone before training commences.

Thankyou for your understanding. It is our commitment to make these teachings available to as many people as possible, so we will find ways to make it happen and you will be consulted and kept informed.

How is it offered?

This training is offered in two in person locations at once: Auckland New Zealand and Perth, Western Australia.

It is a hybrid training, meaning that for most of the training the two groups will come together in their respective places and join together in the larger group via zoom. Some sessions may be held solely online.

If you don’t live in Auckland or Perth, the time schedule works for you and you wish to join, please get in touch to discuss the possibilities.

The New Zealand group will be guided by Maheshjoti Kaur and Baldev Kaur, interns on the training.

Seva

Seva is selfless service, one of the main pillars of the Kundalini Yoga philosophy and lifestyle: giving with no expectation of return. It is perhaps the most powerful way to clear your karma and quieten your self-interest.

Participants in our programmes engage in Seva (selfless service), with everyone helping with the tasks that keep the training running smoothly, like keeping the space clean and tidy and helping with serving and cleaning up after meals.
